• A disturbing CCTV recording has emerged, revealing how an Embakasi entrepreneur spent his day without realizing he was being silently observed.
  • The man had taken money from a bank, a routine task that secretly made him the focus of a carefully planned daytime scheme.
  • Security camera video showed a suspicious Nissan X-Trail following him from the bank's parking area to his office.
  • Not realizing the risk, the businessman carried on with his routine while the men waited patiently for the ideal opportunity to act.

CCTV footage that is unsettling reveals how a man from Embakasi came close to danger following a routine bank visit that turned sinister.

Kamau went to the bank last week and took out KSh 1 million.

He was unaware that his departure turned him into a target, as unknown individuals in a Nissan X Trail followed and observed him for several hours.

In the CCTV video released by Inooro TV, the alleged criminals were seen parking beside his car in the bank's parking area, waiting for him to exit the building.

Following his departure from the bank, surveillance camera footage revealed that they followed him, maintaining a safe distance to avoid alarming or making him aware of their sinister plan.

After Kamau reached his workplace, the gang had regrouped.

One of them was currently acting as a vendor of eggs, while the other was feigning a phone conversation as the businessman walked by.

Throughout this entire period, he remained oblivious to the scheme being orchestrated against him.

Did Kamau lose his KSh 1 million?

While at his workplace, the Nissan X Trail, which was transporting the gang members, parked beside his car, and they seized the opportunity to break in, searching for KSh 1 million.

"From my side mirror, I noticed the boss approaching. I chose to make way for him. I had no idea that by applying my brakes, I disrupted the plans of the men who were trailing him," said Kamau's employee, who was driving a truck and had just reached his workplace.

Kamau would later realize the risk he had faced after discovering his car had been broken into; the criminals had shattered the windows while searching the vehicle for cash.

He examined the surveillance footage indicating that he had been followed from the bank, and they spent time breaking into his car in plain sight.

"They weren't afraid of being discovered. They carried it out in plain view," said Kamau's employee.

Fortunately for the businessman, the funds were not located in the vehicle.
