Air trips frequently lack comfort when traveling.
No matter if you're seated beside a discourteous co-passenger or squeezed into an economy class seat, numerous factors can transform a flight into quite an unpleasant experience.
But don't worry.
A former British Airways Flight attendant Jane Hawkes has shared her top tips for ensuring the most comfortable trip possible and disclosed Which part of the airplane is typically more contaminated than the bathrooms?
The travel expert states: "When traveling this summer, make sure to include hand sanitizer in your carry-on bag."
Whenever possible, try to avoid contacting surfaces when flying; if contact cannot be avoided, make sure they have been sanitized beforehand.
I suggest keeping sanitizer and wipes in your carry-on at all times, since airplanes undergo thorough cleaning only when they enter maintenance checks.
Jane discloses that during breaks between trips, the aircraft typically receives only a brief cleaning and cursory tidying by the staff.

And the dirtiest areas?
She states: "The most problematic spots are the tray tables, armrests, seats, and headrests, so make sure you clean them off before use."
In partnership with The Wedding Travel Company , ex-flight attendant Jane also disclosed the prime location on the aircraft offering superior comfort with additional legroom for passengers.
The prime spots are located near the bulkhead, right at the beginning of the aircraft," clarifies Jane. "These areas are divided from the cabin area by partitions, which means nobody can lean their seat back in front of you.
'These seats also have more leg room, and due to their location at the front of cabins, they can provide priority boarding and exit.
'The passengers seated here will receive their meals and drinks first in this section of the plane, ensuring you can savor your meal as well.'
However, having the premium seat on the plane might not make a significant difference if your co-passengers aren’t well-mannered.
Jane says that one of the biggest blunders travelers can commit is placing their feet on the seat backs.

She explains: 'The worst thing any passenger can do is put their feet on the seats. It's unhygienic, unnecessary and impolite and shows a complete disregard for fellow passengers.'
Yet another big 'no-go'? According to Jane, travelers who remove both their shoes and socks are violating all the rules of politeness aboard flights. She mentions witnessing people walking around the cabin without footwear, which she finds disgusting.
The ex-flight attendant further asserts that individuals using noisy gadgets 'sans headphones' find themselves extremely irritating, whereas 'conversing during safety briefings' is considered disrespectful towards both crew members and fellow travelers.
And Jane's 'biggest bugbear?'
Travelers who lean back their airplane seats without asking if it's alright to do so.
She states: "My primary annoyance, and undoubtedly an issue shared by many, is the act of tilting seat backs not only during meal services but at any point during the flight without first ensuring it’s acceptable to the person seated behind."
