Pakistan, June 3 — PESHAWAR – In preparation for the upcoming Eidul Azha holidays, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has declared the reintroduction of popular camping pods at major tourist spots with an aim to revive tourism and provide enhanced amenities to travelers.
The Tourism Department reports that this program seeks to provide visitors with secure, pristine, and pleasant places to stay as they discover KP’s stunning gorges and alpine vistas. The pods have been crafted specifically to deliver an exclusive living experience amidst the natural surroundings.
Camping pods will be provided at numerous well-visited tourist spots such as Sharan Valley in Kaghan, Thandiani in Abbottabad, and Bumburet in Kalash. Additional places include Yarkhun Lasht, Sor Laspur (Upper Chitral), Gabin Jabba and Sultanr (in Swat region), along with Malka Mahaban and Shaheed Sar (located in Buner district).
Moreover, visitors traveling to Alai Maidan (Battagram), Yakh Tangai (Shangla), and Samana (Orakzai) can enjoy the convenience of these contemporary pods over the Eid holiday. These spots provide breathtaking vistas and serene environments perfect for family outings and enthusiasts of natural beauty.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration anticipates that these enhanced amenities will not just draw additional visitors but also encourage sustainable tourism. Given the increasing preference for local trips over Eid, this program is perfectly timed to accommodate holidaymakers.
Furthermore, the authorities have guaranteed that all camping pods will be well-maintained and secured, rendering them a dependable choice for individuals seeking to spend their vacations outside of busy urban areas.
