This past March, she went on holiday to Japan. Initially, she lodged in Shinjuku, which is among Tokyo’s most bustling areas, famous for its lively eateries, boutiques, and nightlife. Subsequently, she and her mom journeyed to Nagoya, an important urban center located centrally within Japan. |

She relished Tendon, a cherished and delectable Japanese meal consisting of rice. The term merges Tempura (fried battered seafood or veggies) with Donburi (a rice bowl). This dish comprises a portion of white rice crowned with crunchy tempura—commonly including shrimp and various vegetables—and is doused with a syrupy-savory sauce that permeates both the tempura bits and the rice, intensifying the overall robust taste. |

On her journey, she tasted an array of traditional South Korean dishes such as seaweed soup, bulgogi, seafood pancakes, kimchi, and kimchi stew. She also savored soju—the nation’s signature drink. Furthermore, this was the first time she ventured into eating live octopus, a meal notorious for challenging even the boldest eaters. |

Chuang Sri has been vigorously encouraging local travel. In April, she assumed the position of Tungsathewi, the deity of Songkran, during the Thai New Year water celebration. Adorned in conventional clothing and carried on a floral-decorated litter, she received an enthusiastic reception from the crowd. |

Chuangsri frequently chooses local retreats for her travels. In February, she went to the Four Seasons Resort located in Koh Samui, an idyllic tropical island situated along the southeastern coast of Thailand. This resort is renowned for its pristine white sandy shores, transparent aquamarine seas, and dense clusters of palm trees. Koh Samui boasts many upscale resorts that adhere to global standards, providing contemporary facilities and top-notch services. Guests have the option to relax in exclusive sea-facing bungalows, indulge in lavish spa treatments, and relish exquisite dining experiences in charming, picturesque environments. |

Her two cherished dishes include suyuk—succulent, soft-boiled or steamed pork accompanied by crisp kimchi, pickled daikon, uncooked garlic cloves, and green chilies, all paired with the flavorful ssamjang sauce—and sundae, a classic Korean dish consisting of pork intestines filled with cellophane noodles, sticky rice, pigs' blood, and veggies. This sausage-like treat is usually enjoyed with a sprinkle of salt and pepper or alongside fiery tteokbokki and holds a special place both as a popular snack sold on streets and as an integral part of daily Korean cuisine. |
