On June 2, TikToker Sana Yousaf was tragically killed at her residence in Islamabad. This unfortunate event occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal police station. Hailing from Chitral, she gained recognition through her active role on social media platforms.
Police say a visitor came to her house and shot her two times. Following the incident, the perpetrator left the location. The reason for the shooting remains unclear.
The police reached promptly and cordoned off the scene. They transported Sana's remains to PIMS Hospital for an autopsy. Items of evidence were gathered from within the residence.
The investigators are currently looking for the suspect. They are examining both the CCTV recordings and accounts from witnesses. So far, no arrests have been carried out.
